EXPLORING IN COLOR EASEL CARD

These projects were created using the May 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit and Refill called Exploring In Colors by Stampin Up®.  I created the bases using my supply of cardstock.  I cut the base as follows.  I also used the beautiful scenic card front from the kits as my easel. These cards are really beautiful and could be used for masculine or feminine occasions.

INSTRUCTIONS

Card base:  Wild Wheat or Pebbled Path 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 (scor at 4 1/4... with base open, cut at 1" from left at 4 1/4 scor line down to card edge, repeat from left side of base)

Printed card from kit:  Cut the back flap off card plus 1/4" off top of front. From left side of printed card, cut at 3/4 then 3 1/4. The remaining piece cut at 3/4.  This will leave you a 3/4" piece you can save for another project. Be sure to keep the pieces in order from left to right.

Back of printed card:  These would be Boho Blue, cut down to 4 x 4.  Open your card base and place the 4 x 4 piece centered on inside of card.  Then glue the 2 side front flaps down to the back while overlapping the Boho Blue piece.  Adhere the printed 3/4 (2) pieces, left side then right side to the flaps you just glued down. Thus leaving only the middle flap loose.

You should only have the center front flap of the card left.  Fold the center piece toward the 4 1/4 scor line and burnish well.  This should give you a teepee.  Glue only the bottom half of your printed 3 1/4 card piece to the front of the teepee.

Last stamp your sentiment and pop up your embellishment.  The embellishment should be placed so the card front can rest against it and keep your center piece upright.
