Origami Square Card

 This card was created for my August Stamp Class... It is a card made with Stampin® Up products.  I created this sweet origami square for the front of the card and a pocket for the inside.  Following the steps below to design a wonderful card to send to a friend or someone needed a smile in the mail.

FRONT                                 INSIDE POCKET

MEASUREMENTS
Whisper White Thick Card Stock

Base 5 1/2 x 8 1/2

Inside Square Front 2 7/8 x 2 7/8


Designer Series Paper (DSP)

Take a sheet of 6 x 6 with design you want more prominant facing up.

Cut at 4 1/4 and turn and cut 4 1/4

Trim the 1 3/8 x 6 piece down to 5 1/2

Remainder piece 1 3/4 x 4 1/4 is your inside pocket

SCORING THE DSP

Place the 4 1/2 square on a Scor Tool diagonal points at 3" line... scor left point at 1" and again at 1 1/2". 

Rotate DSP clockwise to next point being again at 3" and repeat scoring at 1" and 1 1/2" turning until all 4 points have been scored.

 

FOLDING DSP

With desired side up take point and fold over at the 1 1/2" line and then back at the 1" line... repeat on all 4 corners.
